Today is World Water Day. I will be sharing some facts about water throughout the day. I apologize but some of the facts might not be pleasant. Like this one.

What is it that kills more children around the world per year than AIDS, Malaria, and Measles combined? It is diarrhea! That’s right, something as simple as diarrhea kills more children than those diseases combined. The diarrhea in most cases is caused due to the lack of safe drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene in the developing world.

Approximately 1.4 to 1.5 million children die each year due to diarrhea.

Maybe it’s just me, but I think that is insane.
