I will begin answering that by talking only about the tallest of The Great Pyramids in the Giza Necropolis, THE Great Pyramid of Giza which is also known as The Pyramid of Khufu or The Pyramid of Cheops. Upon it’s completion around 2560 BC it stood at 480.6 feet tall (146.5 meters).
For a period of over 3800 years it stood as the tallest structure in the world. Then in 1300 the Lincoln Catherdral Tower in Lincoln, England is listed as the tallest in the world at 520 feet tall.
The Pyramid of Khufu in now missing the tip due to erosion. I now know that tip or capstone is called the pyramidion. Due to this the Pyramid is now just 455.4 feet tall (138.8 meters). Even today that is good enough to remain the tallest of The Great Pyramids.
The Pyramid of Khafre is the second tallest, standing at 448 feet tall (136.4 meters). At the time of its completion though it was a bit taller, 471 feet tall (143.5 meters).
Finally, The Pyramid of Menkaure stands 204 feet tall (61 meters), but was originally 215 feet tall (65.5 meters).
