FOTD: Where did Lady Gaga come up with her stage name Lady Gaga?

Apparently Lady Gaga whose real name is Stefani Joanna Angelina Germanotta came upon her now world famous stage name by accident. Her producer Rob Fusari compared her vocal harmonies to those of Freddie Mercury, lead singer of Queen. While she was in the process of trying to come up with a stage name she liked. Then she received a text message from Fusari that read, “Lady Gaga“.

Fusari once explained how he gave her an entrance song which he sang every day when he saw her, Queen‘s Radio Ga Ga. When he typed the song title into a text message to her one day it auto corrected itself to Lady Gaga for one reason or another. So the text she got was, “Lady Gaga“. She replied back, “That’s it.” And since then she has been Lady Gaga.
